AllTrails+ members can explore entire parks — all offline.
San Francisco (November 21, 2024) — AllTrails, the world’s most popular and trusted platform for outdoor exploration, today introduced Offline Parks, allowing members to access comprehensive information and explore trails in any park in the app without cell service. Offline Parks solves for one of the most common park issues: getting out there often means leaving network coverage. The feature is available with paid membership to AllTrails+.
With Offline Parks, a single park download includes:
- A full park map and routes for all of its trails
- Reviews and recent photos of the park shared by visitors
- Trail recommendations and guidance from AllTrails experts, community members, and park officials
- Essential park information like hours and fees
“Being able to disconnect is part of what makes time outside so rewarding,” said Ivan Selin, Chief Product Officer at AllTrails. “We designed Offline Parks to help people explore thousands of parks on AllTrails without having to worry about having service. From detailed maps to our experts’ recommendations, we’ve brought the best of AllTrails for you to use offline.”
Offline Parks is available for local and national parks worldwide.
