We hiked up from Litochoro to Prionia. We had an amazing hike. It is quite strenuous and near to the edge of steep cliffs but well worth seeing the beautiful waterfalls. We chose to hike up to Prionia but there are taxis available to drive up this portion and then you can hike further up to the refuge and/or hike down. It took us longer than suggested but we stopped a lot to take pictures. That's my story and sticking to it! ;)

@NikolasVal and @SteliosPantazis Did you do this in the winter? I am going to be there in the middle of Feb. Also, does it really take 2 days? It is only 11 miles and I have done much higher mountains at 14 miles in 1 day. What do you think is it possible to do in 1 day? And Is it wise?

Great landscape and to reach the top, Mytigas. If you do go, get a safety helmet. Stones may fall at the very top.

a wonderful hike! my suggestion for hikers that do it for the first time is to use the zonaria - chondromesorachi - agapitos refuge path for the descent...
