The start and end point is the Goldlauter Brücke car park/bus stop. From there, the summit circuit begins a crisp section up into the forest from the Salzberg to the Großer Finsterberg via the Fichtenkopf, Schneekopf and finally to the Rosenkopf and back past the Großer Beerberg.
