The circular route begins in Altendorf. Forest and meadow paths lead to the Ostrauer Mühle mill. From there, the trail continues along the Flößersteig and runs for the most part along the babbling Kirnitzsch through the picturesque valley to Bad Schandau. The Schlossberg and the Scloss ruins are passed before finally climbing over the Schillerblick to the Panoramaweg. Beautiful views accompany the route all the way back to Altendorf.
