This route starts at the car park in the spa town of Königshütte. The artificial, very beautiful Königshütter Waterfall is the town's landmark. The routes along the Kalte Bode, which is later joined by the Warme Bode, are idyllic - together with the dam, a great natural spectacle. There are plenty of places to sit and picnic. The Harzer Wandernadel stamping station is at the dam wall.
