Challenging and beautiful mountain bike tour in the Harz National Park.
Here you will find an impressive panorama, demanding rides and a lot of peace and quiet. The first section leads mostly uphill to the Zeterklippen, from where there is a great view of the Brocken and Wernigerode. In the warm season, heat and bark beetles sometimes attack the coniferous forest and then gives the route a post-apocalyptic note.
Accessible by bus and train. Except for a few shelters, there are no places to stop for refreshments on the way and water in particular is scarce. Therefore, sufficient provisions must be planned.
