Many beautiful paths and great nature await you in the highest low mountain range in northern Germany. This is a grea tour from Ilsenburg via the Heinrich-Heine Weg to the Brocken and along the popular Hexenstieg to Schierke. The way to the Brocken goes steadily uphill. At the top, you can linger for a while in the restaurant or on an extra circular route on the summit trail. Sturdy shoes are recommended.
