Beautiful circular route in the Harz National Park, Saxony-Anhalt.
This wonderful circular route begins at the parking lot at Ilsenburg Castle. The first half of the hike leads up to the Ilsestein and in the direction of the Brockenkinder. There is also a forest inn on the way. From the highest point on Renneckenberg, the hike first leads along the creek on Renneckenberg and then along the beautiful Ilse. The Ilse, with its wonderfully wild and romantic atmosphere and waterfalls, accompanies the path to the starting point.
