Panoramic hike on the edge of the Palatinate Forest around the spa town of Bad Dürkheim.
This is the route of an event organised by the BKK hiking initiative. The panorama trail of the Drachenfels Club in Bad Dürkheim will be explored. The route starts at Wurstmarktplatz and leads through the village before a moderate climb takes you into the beautiful forest. The route climbs up to the Kriemhildenstuhl, an impressive Roman quarry. There is a platform on which a wooden shelter has been erected. The view over the town and the surrounding area is wonderful.
