From Bad Dürkheim, this route runs in a northwesterly direction to the Heidenfels and passes the former Roman quarry Kriemhildenstuhl and the Heidenfels. Further highlights await along the route. It starts at Wurstmart-Platz in Bad Dürkheim. From there the path into the forest and goes slightly but steadily uphill past the Schäferwarte, Kaiser-Wilhem-Höhe and the "Herzogweiherblick" vantage point up to the Heidenfels. In the Lindemansruhe you have the opportunity to stop (note opening times).
It continues downhill through the forest past the Bismarck Tower back to the starting point.
