Pleasant MTB circuit from Trier-Kürenz to Benninger Bach
The first part of this MTB route leads 200 metres uphill to the Schellberg. It also passes the idyllic Benninger Bach stream not far from the hilltop. The second part of the route leads back to Kürenz via the Alt-Tarforst district. In the university grounds, the MTB route passes the path of monoliths where arranged rock exhibits, such as a basalt pyramid and an archaic-looking stone circle, adorn the park grounds.
There are car parks at the Keune primary school and the starting point is not far from the Trier-Kürenz bus stop. The districts of Feyer and Weismark in particular offer numerous opportunities for refreshments.
