Challenging MTB circuit from Trier to Auf der Höhe in the south-west of the city
This mountain bike route leads over hilly paths in the Trier area to the 375 metre high Auf der Höhe, which is reached after a good 6 km long ascent. The route then leads over undulating terrain through the Mattheiser Forest. After passing through the Trier districts of Feyer and Weismark, the route ends at the starting point of the route at the amphitheatre.
There are car parks at the starting point, which is not far from Trier-Süd railway station. The districts of Feyer and Weismark in particular offer numerous opportunities for refreshments.
