Exciting and beautiful hiking route in the Southern Eifel Nature Park.
A very beautiful route that starts at the Waldhotel Sonnenberg in Boliendorf. The Maria Theresa Stone, a historical boundary stone that once marked the border between Vianden and Echternach, was erected in 1771 and is named after Empress Maria Theresa. The coat of arms of the "Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation" can still be found on the 1 metre high stone. Otherwise, you will find magnificent forest with impressive soil and rock formations along the way, e.g. the Green Hell, the Eulen-Horst and the Kreuzlay viewing rock. There are refreshment stops at the start and end of the route.
