Stage 7 of the long-distance hiking trail "Pfälzer Waldpfad", Rhineland-Palatinate.
This is the seventh stage of the certified quality trail "Pfälzer Waldpfad", which leads from Kaiserslautern to the German Wine Gate in Schweigen-Rechtenbach once through the Palatinate Forest.
The hike begins in the shoe village of Hauenstein. From here, the trail leads through the marvellous landscapes of the Dahner Felsenland, over the ridges of the Winterkirchel and Lachberg to Dahn, where you can end the day with a relaxing stop for refreshments. Both Hauenstein and Dahn can be reached by bus and train.
