Stage 2 of the long-distance hiking trail "Pfälzer Höhenweg", Rhineland-Palatinate.
The picturesque climatic health resort of Dannenfels is the starting point for the second stage of the certified "Pfälzer Höhenweg" quality trail. Many great viewpoints, some rustic huts and an old Celtic hillfort are among the special features of this hike. The fantastic views of the Donnersberg, the highest mountain in the North Palatinate Uplands, are particularly beautiful.
The stage ends in Bastenhaus. There are nice places to stop for refreshments both en route and at the end of the stage.
