Ehrbachklamm

Idyllic premium hiking trail through the Ehrbachsklamm gorge near Morshausen, Rhineland-Palatinate There is no traffic noise - the only dominant sound in the silence of the forest is the roar of the Ehrbach, which swells upwards from the depths of the gorge, especially on the high Peterslay with a view of Rauschenburg Castle. As early as the Middle Ages, the Ehrbach valley was recognised as a side valley to the Moselle and as a strategic and attractive location to Boppard on the Rhine. Today, it is a dream destination for hikers. The route also takes you over the edges of slopes and through the silence of the beech whales. The route enchants with views of the Hunsrück heights. To best experience the beauty of the Ehrbachklamm gorge and the babbling brook and waterfalls, the dream loop should be hiked against the current and thus anti-clockwise. Sturdy footwear is required. The hiking car park is located north-east of the starting point on the K120 district road. There are also several places to stop for refreshments along the route.
