Along the Moselle River from Cochem to Senheim

This impressive route leads through one of Germany's most spectacular river valleys, connecting the bustling town of Cochem with the idyllic wine village of Senheim. The path explores the characteristic landscapes of the "Terraced Moselle," following a mixture of level riverside paths, reinforced vineyard trails, and sections of the famous Moselsteig trail. A central highlight is the view of the majestic Cochem Imperial Castle (Reichsburg) towering over the valley, as well as passing through renowned vineyards such as the "Bremmer Calmont." The route is demanding due to its length but remains a delight for both hikers and cyclists thanks to the minimal inclines along the riverbanks.
