RTF Kurbel Dortmund 2018 - 155km Route

Official route of the Dortmund crank. This 155 kilometre route, the longest route of the RTF Kurbel Dortmund, is an extreme endurance bike ride. The difficulty lies in the sustained effort over the immense distance and several metres in altitude. Starting from the Ruhr area, the route heads specifically for the hilly terrain of the Sauerland foothills and the surrounding regions, which is characterised by countless short climbs and fast descents. Although the surface is mostly tarmac, the all-day physical exertion and mental concentration require an enormous effort. This technically easy but physically demanding route is intended for very experienced cyclists who want to put their endurance to the test.
