Recording (edited) of the signposted RTF route "Dür de Annewehen" over 111 km on Saturday 19.09.2009 with Garmin Edge 305, organised by the cycling department of Marathon Ibbenbüren. Alternative routes over 42, 74 and 151 km. See photo on the control map. Great route in flat or slightly undulating terrain (measured approx. 400 metres in altitude) over almost exclusively low-traffic and good roads and paths around Ibbenbüren with beautiful sections along the Dortmund-Ems Canal and Mittelland Canal as well as in parts of the northern Teutoburg Forest and the Tecklenburger Land. The start and finish location at Freizeithof Bögel-Windmeyer in the Sportzentrum Ost also offers an ambience that is rarely found at an RTF. If the weather is sunny, it is always worth retracing the route and taking part in the RTF, even if you have a longer journey.
