The route heads north, running parallel to the road for a short distance. Later, it follows the bend that leads to the edge of the Mastbruch-Rahmer Wald nature reserve. Caution is advised when crossing the main road, otherwise it is a near-natural route that finally ends at the idyllic Mastbruch pond. There are many places to stop in the city of Dortmund.
