The second section of the Bergisch Panorama Cycle Route covers almost 66 kilometres from Wermelskirchen via the castle town of Hückeswagen to the historic Hanseatic town of Wipperfürth. After Wipperfürth, the route leaves the Bergisches Land and enters the low mountain region of the Sauerland. Passing the Kerspetalsperre, Lingesetalsperre and Brucher Talsperre reservoirs, the route leads to Marienheide with its "Heilteich" spa park, which is a great place to stop off. From Marienheide, the cycle route then leads over the Aggertalsperre reservoir with swimming opportunities to the final destination of Olpe.
