Best paved trails in Bergisches Land Nature Park

The start is at the railway station in Remscheid Lennep. The route runs along part of the Balkantrasse and on to Marienheide (railway station).

The Aliens Balkantrassenrunde, a permanent, paved route, offers a great cycle tour with lots of greenery and little traffic. It runs via Langenfeld and Opladen to Tente and Wermelskirchen. From there it continues via the B51 - Witzhelden to Herscheid via the country road, then towards Landwehr and Wasserburg. Best enjoyed in summer.
