This beautiful hike begins and ends at the Eschbachstrasse hiking car park by the castle cable car. From here, it is possible to take the cable car up to Schloss Burg, Oberburg. From there, the route continues through picturesque Wuppertal, always following the river that gives it its name, via Unterburg to Wiesenkotten until shortly after Diedrichstempel, where the road leads back in a southerly direction on the other side of the Wupper. Beautiful landscapes and views waiting here, too.
