Culturally historic circular hike recognised as a Wanderbares Deutschland quality trail This route provides complete relaxation and helps to slow down a stressful everyday life. It also combines nature with cultural and historical highlights. The 6-kilometre route takes you back to the Stone Age, to the beginnings of civilisation. The starting point of Oerlinghausen is well equipped with archaeological sites. A special highlight is a visit to the Oerlinghausen Archaeological Open-Air Museum. You can also borrow a rucksack there, which contains little surprises for the hike and encourages active learning. The route itself follows the hiking symbol A8 - a black sign with a rucksack.
