There is a small car park at the Goldenstein bridge, but parking is also possible along the road. Parts of the trail can also be used for horseback riding. It starts off on a wide sandy path and then goes through the forest. Many of the side paths are rarely used and the grass and plants are high. (Danger of ticks)
At the end of the forest, you come to a small bridge that you have to cross to get to the neighbouring moorland area. Most of the paths here are either paved (in poor condition and uneven) or sandy.
Only move on paths that are recognisably used, at least as game trails, and do not walk off the beaten track, as this is a raised bog.
The last 2 kilometres of the way back are on a paved side road.
