A varied and easy hike that can also be incorporated into a cycle tour. The route leads through the forest and along several lakes. The starting point is a small car park at the edge of the forest. Follow the forest path and walk parallel to the first lake on the route. However, there is no direct access to the lake via official paths. A short time later, you leave the forest and the trail leads past a second lake on paved paths, although this is on private land. The third and fourth lakes are also still active quarry ponds, so there is no access to the water. Finally, the fifth lake is an idyllic forest lake called Silbersee, which can be completely circumnavigated on foot. At the penultimate lake on the route, the Tannahauser Badesee, you can, as the name suggests, go for a swim. There is also a wake board facility and outdoor catering here. This lake can also be completely circumnavigated.
