Zur Teestube Eiland

Aurich as a starting point for a cycle tour with a stretch along the Ems-Jade Canal and continuing on small side roads without much car traffic to Westgroßefehn. Here it is worth visiting the Eiland tea parlour and the nature conservation farm, which can be reached via the beer garden of the tea parlour on a footpath. The route continues eastwards along an old field path through a raised bog landscape, then follows the small paths to Holtrop and on to the Ems-Jade Canal. Here you can decide either to cycle along the canal to the starting point or to return to Aurich via other small roads and country lanes.
