Fun mountain bike tour in the TEERA.vita Nature and Geopark, Lower Saxony
The car park on the Huntetalstraße is a good starting point for the somewhat more challenging mountain bike route, which leads through several beautiful, protected forest areas: Gehle, Wehmerhorster Wiesental,Limberg and Offelter Berg and finally through the Obere Hunte.
The route includes some steep climbs and short downhill sections on a mixture of forest paths/single trails and tarmac roads with little traffic. Outdoor enthusiasts can expect beautiful natural scenery with some magnificent views of the neighbouring valley and the North German Plain along the route.
