The Ith-Hils Trail runs over two striking mountain ranges in the eastern Weserbergland on a circular hike of a good 80 kilometres. The first stage of the certified quality trail begins in the pretty little town of Coppenbrügge. From here, the trail leads over the Ith ridge, past impressive rock formations and up to the Ith Tower. Overnight accommodation (campsite) is available at the Humboldtsee lake, which can be reached via an access path. Make sure you have enough provisions with you for this stage.
