Popular cycle marathon on the Weser, Lower Saxony. This is the route of the annual road cycling event "Die Große Weserrunde". The route starts at the Weseranger in Rinteln. Rinteln railway station is also nearby, making it easy to travel to the event by train. This is a cycle route that starts in Hameln. It initially heads south along the Weser to Hajen, where it turns inland. It crosses the villages of Frenke and Börry and then leads through the Hasselberg Forest. On the way back to Hamelin, it passes through Völkerhausen and then through fields.

The path is very flat and is surrounded by many lakes, with the Weser to the east. On the way back you also pass the Töneböns ponds.
