Four Tower Tour Wetzlar

Popular circular hike near Wetzlar, Hesse. Three watchtowers and an observation tower await hikers on the Four Towers Tour in Wetzlar, which starts at the historic Lahnbrücke bridge (paid car park). You leave the Hauser Mühle and the open-air theatre behind you and soon reach the Bismarck Tower on the Lahnberg (alternative tour start). Further stops are the Kaisersgrund, the Brühlsbacher Warte and the Stoppelberg, where a viewing tower offers great views of the Dünsberg and Wetzlar, among others. Afterwards, there is a refreshment stop in the Kirschenwäldchen. Further on, you reach a vantage point from which you have a great view of the previous three towers and the Staufer castle ruins of Kalsmunt. Behind the castle, you descend along a small path to the banks of the Lahn, from where you return to the starting point. The Four Towers Tour is marked with a red "1" on a white background.
