The Staufen, at 451 metres the highest point on this tour, gives this CTF its name. The routes of the CTF StaufenBike run in the Hofheim state forest through the first foothills of the Taunus with Kapellenberg, Fischbacher Kopf, Staufen and Judenkopf, to name just a few of the prominent points along the route. There are three routes to choose from:
Tour 1: Challenging, particularly suitable for MTB // 51 km with 1,150 metres of ascent,
Tour 2: Suitable for cross and gravel bikes // 31 km with 550 metres in altitude,
Tour 3: Alternative to the shorter Tour 2, also an easy and flatter alternative route with a length of 34 km through the Rhine-Main Regional Park for less experienced cyclists (also suitable for cross and gravel bikes).
