RC Hattersheim Permanente RTF: Ried Tour

The Hattersheim Cycling Friends offer 3 "permanent" cycle tours of varying degrees of difficulty for point hunters and those who want to become one. This route first leads westwards to Kostheim and crosses the Rhine at Weisenau between Gustavsburg and Ginsheim. It then passes through the Rhine-Hessian wine villages of Laubenheim, Bodenheim and Nackenheim (control stamp) to Nierstein. There you take the ferry to the Hessian Ried. During the crossing, you can once again let your gaze wander over the vineyards and picturesque Nierstein. After crossing over, there is an opportunity to take a short break at Kornsand with a marvellous view over the Rhine. You can then cycle to Königstätten, partly on well-maintained cycle paths. Cycle along the Horlache to Hassloch and then to Rüsselsheim. From there, you cycle over the Opelbrücke bridge to Flörsheim and back to Hattersheim via Eddersheim and Okriftel.
