Idyllic hike to the Hasselbrack in the Rosengarten state forest in Hamburg.
This hike can be reached by bus and train (Waldfrieden bus stop). Parking is available at the starting point for those arriving by car. The route is, therefore, ideal for a trip from Hamburg and the surrounding area.
The hiking trail starts in the south of Hamburg's Neugraben-Fischbeck district. It leads southerly through the Rosengarten state forest to the highest natural elevation in Hamburg, the Hasselbrack.
