Lake Grimnitz Circular

Leisurely circular route around the Grimnitzsee in Brandenburg. The hiking route starts at the Joachimsthal train station and leads to Leistenhaus. Here the northern outflow of the Grimnitzsee is crossed, and the trail goes to Neugrimnitz. A detour to the Glasstube is worthwhile. Near Althüttendorf is a nature observation point, which offers beautiful views over the lake. The route continues on the new cycle path past the holiday park and village through the burnt wood forest to Altgrimnitz along the lake. After the level crossing, it is only a few meters from the Joachimsthal train station. The circular route mostly leads over paved roads and a new bike path. From Leistenhaus to Neugrimnitz, it goes over unpaved forest and field paths.
