Historically interesting circular trail in the Schorfheide, Brandenburg.
The tour leads from Althüttendorf railway station along forest paths parallel to the railway tracks to the northern end of Lake Werbellinsee and then to Joachimsthal Imperial Railway Station. The recently restored railway station was used by Kaiser Wilhelm II for hunting trips and recreation by the lake and is now in operation again. From there, the route continues to the Grimnitzsee lake and along its densely wooded edges back to the starting point. A beautiful excursion to experience the nature and history of Brandenburg. There are numerous refreshment stops along the way.
