The route leads into the magnificent Haßberge Nature Park in Lower Franconia. Starting from Zeil, the trail first runs northwards across wide fields to the height of the Hohe Wann (388 m). Hohe Wann is also the name of the local nature reserve, which is the largest in the area. Continue in an arc around the village of Krum and then finally into the forest. At the easternmost point of the tour, you reach the Drei-Länder-Stein. This is a boundary stone that marks the point where the borders of the federal states of Hesse, Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg meet. The town of Zeil itself also offers many interesting, beautiful and historic sights, such as the market square with its old half-timbered houses and the witches' tower.
