Stage 9 of the long-distance hiking trail "Wasserläufer-Route", Bavaria.
Together with the Himmelsstürmer-Route and the Wiesengänger-Route, the Wasserläufer-Route forms the "Wandertrilogie Allgäu" long-distance hiking trail network.
Over a distance of around 14 kilometres, the ninth stage connects Nesselwang and Oy-MIttelberg. Despite its moderate length, this hike is extremely varied; a waterfall, pretty forest and meadow passages, a castle ruin, a well-known mountain peak and a lake line the route. There are places to stop for refreshments and overnight accommodation. The start and finish can be reached by bus and train.
