This hike leads around the picturesque Grüntensee lake in the Oberallgäu. The Wertach reservoir is known for its crystal-clear water and impressive Alpine panorama. The route starts at the hiking car park at the climbing forest.
The trail leads around the entire lake on natural paths and paved lakeside paths. A particular highlight is the view of the "Guardian of the Allgäu", the 1,738 metre-high Grünten.
