Stage 18a of the long-distance hiking trail "Wasserläufer-Route", Bavaria.
Together with the Himmelsstürmer-Route and the Wiesengänger-Route, the Wasserläufer-Route forms the "Wandertrilogie Allgäu", a network of more than 400 kilometres of long-distance hiking trails.
This stage from Scheidegg to Eglofs combines the two stages 18 (Scheidegg to Lindenberg) and 19 (Lindenberg to Eglofs) to form a longer alternative route. Highlights of the almost 25-kilometre hike include the Scheidegg waterfalls, the Waldsee recreational area and Syrgenstein Castle.
There is an overnight stay and refreshment stop in Eglofs.
