The day tour leads from Scheidegg through the German-Austrian Alpine foothills to the 1064 metre-high Pfänder mountain. The route is family-friendly and can be easily mastered in parts with a pushchair. The Pfänder offers a marvellous view of the Alps and the entire Lake Constance region (weather permitting). It is possible to walk back along the same route,or to take the cable car down to Bregenz and return to Scheidegg by bus. The start and finish are at the Scheidegg hiking car park Am Hammerweiher.
