The Wank near Garmisch-Partenkirchen is well known. Last but not least, it owes this to its excellent location and the breathtaking panoramic view of the Wetterstein Mountains. The Zugspitze and Alpspitze in particular can be seen very well from its summit. The hike begins at the Wankbahn valley station and leads to the Wankbahn middle station.
