This tour with only moderately steep ascents is very varied and leads through the impressive mountain world of the Chiemgau Alps, starting at the Alpengasthof Hindenburghütte in Tyrol and alternating between meadows and forests towards the Fellhorn in Bavaria. From the summit you have a fantastic view of the Loferer Steinberge, the Hohe Tauern, the Wilder Kaiser and far into the Chiemgau. The way back is downhill and mostly through the forest.
