Beautiful alpine hike with marvellous views to the Hemmersuppenalm.
This alpine hike offers wonderful views and cosy refreshment stops. The circular route starts at the Hindenburghütte, accessible by minibus from Reit im Winkl for a fee (note seasonal times). The trail follows a wide forest road towards the Nattersbergalm (trail no. 131), then branches off to the Obere Hemmersuppenalm. The route leads past the Anna Chapel and the Sulzner Kaser back to the Hindenburghütte. Highlights along the way include the "Chiemseeschau" viewpoint, alpine flora in bloom in spring and the impressive view of the "Bavarian Sea". The Hindenburghütte and the Sulzner Kaser offer refreshment stops.
