Panoramic hike in the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park This magnificent hike starts at the mountain station of the Mittagbahn cable car. Alternatively, you can also start at the valley station, but this makes the hike considerably longer. From the mountain station, the route leads over the Bärenköpfle, Steineberg, Steinköpfle and Stuiben peaks. While the Bärenköpfle is still quite crowded, the hike becomes noticeably emptier the further you walk along the ridge to the Stuiben. A particular highlight of the hike is the Steineberg ladder, which leads a few metres vertically up to the summit of the Steineberg. If you don't feel up to this climb, you can also take a short diversions to the summit. From there, as well as from the other peaks, you can enjoy the magnificent views. There is also an orientation aid at the summit of the Stuiben, on which the surrounding peaks are listed. In good weather, you can even see the Zugspitze from here. Along the way, you will also come across small via ferrata sections, which do not require any equipment or climbing skills. However, surefootedness is a prerequisite. The descent leads past the Gund Alpe, where you can refresh yourself on the beautiful sun terrace with a magnificent mountain panorama before the path leads back down into the valley. Shortly before the end of the hike, you have the option of following the Steigbachtobel path, which leads past many small waterfalls.
