Stage 3 of the Lake Constance-Königssee cycle route at the foot of the Alps.
Right at the start of stage 3 of the long-distance cycle route, the Allgäu mountain ridge Grünten, also known as the "Guardian of the Alps", offers a fantastic panorama. The route continues through the Wertachtal valley to the Gründensee lake, which invites you to linger. As the cycle tour continues, two climatic health resorts await you: Oy-Mittelberg and Nesselwang. While in Oy-Mittelberg you can marvel at St Michael's, the highest church in the Allgäu, in Nesselwang it is worth taking a ride on the Alpspitzbahn cable car. Through forests, meadows and fields, you finally reach Füssen, situated on the idyllic Forggensee lake.
