From the Hohenburg hikers' car park (720m) head east on the road towards Hirschtalsattel or Lenggrieser Hütte. At the Hirschtalsattel (1227m) continue to the right. Later, at 1320m, follow the path to the left towards Rauhalm. Above the Rauhalm on the ridge crest to the summit (1601m), cross this in a southerly direction. At the pasture fence, descend westwards on the trail to the Lenggrieser Hütte (1336m). Return to the starting point via the Grasleitensteig trail into the valley. (It is much quicker from the hut on the forest road).
