Family-friendly circular trail in the Bavarian Forest, Bavaria.
The outdoor animal enclosure is home to numerous native animal species, including wolves, bears, lynx, otters, deer, elk, wild boar, eagle owls, bison, owls and wildcats. Admission is free, but there is a charge for the car parks. A snack can be taken in the Waldstüberl.
The circular route in the outdoor animal enclosure is barrier-free and is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. The route leads along a forest path that is easy to walk and drive on and is signposted throughout. A short section with wooden planks can be bypassed. There are regular seating areas along the way (with the exception of between the wolf and red deer enclosures); the route is not signposted for bicycles.
There are three steplessly accessible WCs with grab rails.
There are two marked car parks for people with reduced mobility: visitor car park P1 and P7 at the meeting point for guided tours.
