Rennradrunde: Aschaffenburg – Mespelbrunn – Stadtprozelten

The route starts at Aschaffenburg station and initially leads along the main road towards Lohr, to the left of the motorway. This section of the route is less beautiful. After crossing the motorway at the end of Hösbach, however, the route becomes more beautiful. The country road is busier, but the section down to Mespelbrunn is quieter. Here, the climbs are rewarded with views of a beautiful landscape. After Oberschnorrhof, this route leads up to Hundsrück, where there is a nice inn (closed on Mondays), and here the official cycle path continues to Wildensee. From Miltenberg back to Aschaffenburg, the route leads from Obernberg to the left of the Main on well asphalted paths close to the river back to the starting point.
