This route offers magnificent views, but is quite challenging. From the Taubensee lake, the trail leads to the Rauschberg summit with magnificent panoramic views past imposing rock formations. You hike along unspoilt paths, which do require a certain amount of surefootedness, as the trail climbs steadily at the beginning and steep ascents and descents are the order of the day. The starting point is the valley station of the Rauschberg cable car, then follow the Salzalpentour markings.
